About three-billion people in the world do not yet know Jesus Christ.  Almost two-thirds of those people do not have the Bible in their own language or understand how the Word of God fits in their culture.  This means that over two-billion people will not come to know Jesus unless someone is daring enough to take God’s love and move into these cultures with an aim to evangelize, disciple, and plant churches.  Are you daring enough?

Dr. Peter Wagner, considered by many to be the foremost authority on church growth said, “The best method under heaven for evangelism is church planting. There never was a better method and there never will be.” The speed at which people will be won to Christ is directly proportional to the speed at which churches are planted and then multiplied.  This is evident in the book of Acts where we see apostles and evangelists moving out to the frontiers in obedience to Jesus’ commission.  Everywhere Paul went he preached the Gospel, made disciples and appointed elders to lead the new churches he’d planted.   In his time, Paul saw the “whole Earth” as he knew it, reached.  Do you want to see the same happen in your life time?

In December 1988 the Holy Spirit stirred us as a Mission to commit ourselves to pioneer church planting.  Because of this YWAM has taken on the goal of establishing church multiplication movements among unreached people groups and the School of Cross Cultural Strategic Missions was formed.  Will you answer this call?
