More About the Course
The CAR School combines teaching, practical experience, local outreach, worship, and opportunities to learn directly from those working on the front lines with children at risk.
Throughout the three-month school, students explore a broad range of topics, including God’s heart for children, compassion, child development, child evangelism, community development, project planning, human trafficking, cyberbullying, and other issues affecting children and families today. These topics are taught by professionals and practitioners working in the field of Children at Risk throughout South Africa, giving students both Biblical foundations and practical insight.
The school itself runs for three months and includes lectures, local outreaches, worship, practical ministry experiences, and more. Following completion of the school, students also have the option of completing an internship within the following five years, providing an opportunity to gain further hands-on experience in the field.
